Mango Season!!! And how can we miss to make Mango Lassi? One of the most popular drinks in India and now gaining popularity worldwide. It’s a yogurt-based drink and healthy. Mango Lassi is very easy, quick to prepare and it needs very basic ingredients that are easily available at home.
Lassi is supposed to be thick in consistency but if you don’t like thick you can add little milk.
- Mango pulp – 2cup (made from fresh mango)
- Plain yogurt – 2cups
- Milk – ½ cup (optional)
- Sugar – 5tsp (depends on how sweet you want)
- Dash of ground cardamom
- Ice – 2pieces (optional)
- Pistachios, almond, cashew – grated/blanched
- Cardamom & cinnamon – ¼ tsp to sprinkle)
Step1 – In a mixer or blender add mango pulp, yogurt, sugar, and cardamom. (for my recipe I am not using milk).
If you feel its too thick you can add 2-3 ice cubes or milk so that it becomes free-flowing.
Step 2: Now, pour it into the serving glass and garnish with blanched almonds, pistachios, and cashew. And, sprinkle some cardamom and cinnamon powder for extra flavor.
Mango lassi is served in many restaurants and has become one of the favorite beverages of all.
Note: The taste depends upon every Individual. You can adjust sweetness by adding less or more sugar or you can even add honey.
