Lemonade Mojito

Non-Alcoholic Drink – Lemonade Mojito

Thought to start my weekend with a Scrumptious Mocktail, perfect for a refreshing summer evening. Lemonade Mojito is a great drink for the whole family to have a relaxing weekend at home.

Though its famous as a summer drink, still you can have it any season because of its refreshing taste.

  • 1 cup sugar & 2 cups of water (to make sugar syrup)
  • Mint Leaves – 12/15
  • Lemon – 2/3
  • Sparkling water  or Ginger Ale sparkling water

I usually follow a different method which helps me serve instantly any time and easy storage. For this, a little pre-preparation is required but don’t worry its easy and more convenient.

So, let’s start with our Mocktail Recipe.

For sugar syrup take 2 cups of water in a vessel and keep it on a low heat. Once the water gets little warm start adding sugar and stir gently. heat it for few minutes until the sugar gets dissolved and you get a bit thick consistency. and your sugar syrup is ready.

Now, we need to make Ice mint cubes for these we need finely chopped mint leaves and place these leaves in each partition of the ice cube tray. Once the sugar syrup gets cold, pour it gently into the ice cube partition where you have already placed mint leaves. Keep it in the freezer to freeze. After few hours your instant mint cubes are ready to serve anytime with any combination of water, sparkling water etc…

To make mocktail:

  1. In a glass take sparkling water or Ginger Ale sparkling water (which I prefer, using the same for this post) and add 2 tbsp of lemon juice.
  2. For kids, you can use plain water instead of sparkling water which I do it for my son.
  3. Now, take out 3-4 mint cubes (or as required) from the Ice tray and add it to the glass.

Now mix this well and garnish this with mint leaves and lemon slice.

Note: Every Individual has different taste e.g some people like sweet or some might love sour taste of lemon. So, you need to add or minus the ingredients e.g sugar, or mint cubes etc as per your taste.

This is a very good option for parties at home, as it hassle-free to serve and the taste is really refreshing. The blend of ingredients is so tasty that you can enjoy it any time, with water or sparkling water.
