“The Leaf Kitchen” a pure vegetarian casual dining place for all Punekars. It’s a multi-cuisine restaurant which serves a variety of dishes in a unique style & with a beautiful presentation. They create a nice fusion and twists in their dish which is really appealing.
Ambiance: A spacious and beautiful place located in the center of the city. As we entered the restaurant it gave a colorful, beautiful, and bright look. The restaurant is spacious with cool, and funky interiors. A nice décor with a collection of wall frames, quirky one-liners and not be missed are graffiti. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area with comfortable table and chairs. Also, there is a seating area upstairs which you can utilize it for get-together or party.
So, what we ordered
- Beverage: Fruit Punch, Spicy Guava, and Iced Tea.
- Starter: Cheese Cigar Rolls, Thread Paneer, and Tandoori Platter.
- Dessert: Chocolate Pot
Spicy Guava and Fruit Punch
Spicy Guava: As the name itself defines the taste of this beverage is bit spicy. It’s a blend of guava juice, spices and black salt. It was topped with green chill a ring of salt and paprika to add more effect to the drink.
Fruit Punch: A nice blend of juice’s (mango, pineapple and orange) which turned out to be good as expected. It was well mixed with fresh cream to make it little richer in taste and to add consistency.
Cheese Cigar Rolls:
Rolls stuffed with a mixture of cheese, paneer, potato, corns and added spices. It’s a deep fried item served with Mayo-cheese dip.
A big piece of paneer wrapped in a threaded sheets and deep fried. This dish is a mix combination, from outside its crispy and inside its soft. It was garnished with sauce on above. It was a good and tasty.
Platter consists of 5 variety of kababs served with chutney/dip. We loved this dish as every item in it has different taste eg paneer, mushroom, tikki etc..
A great fusion of Chocolate, brownie bits, fruit pieces and topped off with yummy ice cream. And not to forget is drooling chocolate sauce!! People who have sweet tooth will definitely like it.
SERVICE: A topnotch service and the waiters were friendly. Restaurant is hygienic and clean with ample ventilation. Good staff and waiters, prompt enough to take orders and oblige.
VALUE FOR MONEY: It’s little bit expensive but looking at the place, quality, quantity of food and mostly the presentation of the dishes are worth to pay.
Overall (my view): everyone had different taste buds, personally I liked the starters. Beverages could have been more better looking at the price. Would definitely recommend for ambiance, variety of fusion food and presentation of the dishes, it’s really treat for the eyes. A good place to take your family, friends for a treat.
